somewhatDamaged
The following is an advertisement.
somewhatDamaged is technically the first version of Robertdot. I made it while I was still doing somethingHollow (notice the similarities in the name?). The name was taken from the first track on Nine Inch Nails' album "The Fragile." I thought the graphics, which were large, imitating blogs of the day, were quite nice. I didn't use it for long, but it's one of my favorite looks in the Robertdot series.

So, here are my plans (in case you care).
A Brand New Year

Well. What an uneventful new year. This year was the bastard child to the past couple of years hoop-lah (Y2K, Millennium 00/01 debates). No one I know seemed to really be doing anything. I had a personal first: I was driving when we rolled over to 2K3.

Small Updates...

I updated the links section, adding a link to friends, and re-arranging the almost alphabetical order cars list to be alphabetical (and added Daewoo!).

As my apartment is filled with the whoops and hollers of football fans, I contemplate the futility of the sport.
Learn Pain

Christina, Tammy's friend (and mine, too) from Florida, spent the last week here. She apparently had a good time. It was nice to have a new face.

Weirdness

Last night I was reading Easter Eggs in books and software. Then I was looking at music and they were talking about MM. Someone linked to this site called Reverse Speech. It's like back masking, but different. It's pretty weird shit, though I put as much validity in it as I do back-masking. Some of them are discernible, others are really not. I guess it depends on what you want to hear.

Long, Long, Long weekend...

This weekend wanted to never end. I spent several hours working on Alex's computer Thursday, and finally got it working. I went to Sloss Fright Furnace on the same night. It was interesting. There were things I would change. I'd still like to spend the night there by myself, though.

Ah, A New Song!

So, Tammy and I had a conversation about what I believed over the weekend. Last she heard I was agnostic, which has been several months. I was... wait. That isn't really where I want to start. This isn't about religion (except for this new song I've been listening to has me in a depressive contemplative mood and it's about God). It's more about Philosophy and my ontology. I'm a materialist, probably a reductive (or even eliminative) materialist. This is becoming more obvious to me now that I am addressing the problem of mind and body again. I'm about to write a paper on Qualia and why I think it sucks. That will probably help solve some stuff, seeing as Qualia is one of the only provocative arguments against Materialism (or is it?). I'll post it, along with my re-write of Approaching Identity at some point. I'll let you know.

Running and Working and Thinking

I wonder if Tuesday were the first day of the week, would it be as painful as Mondays generally are?

New Things And Updates

I got bored, and decided to stay up a little later than usual to work on my personal site. I changed some design elements (valign=top), and added this news app (based on the blog-like functions on my friends sites). The only problem is that I can't reverse an Enumerator in JScript. If you have any ideas, let me know (no, .reverse() apparently only works on arrays...). [revision: I just loaded them into an array of objects and .reverse()ed it... oh well.]

Administration Finished And Weekend Notes

I got the admin section working, and the bugs worked out (I think). I spent the weekend at home again, hanging out at the skate park. We put another layer of plywood on the new mini outside. Hopefully, we'll have it finished by the end of next week. Dale is probably going back to Italy soon, so it'd be nice. It'd be one more thing to check off the list.
